Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

1. Service

HomeHuddle is a household coordination application ("we", "us") operated by Pratik Mukerji, a sole proprietorship registered in Zurich, Switzerland. The service is provided at homehuddle.io and is hosted in Switzerland.

2. Beta status

HomeHuddle is currently in private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We make best efforts to keep the service stable and your data safe, but you should not yet rely on HomeHuddle for legally critical records (medical, financial, legal). Treat it as a coordination tool, not a system of record.

3. Accounts

Access is by invitation only. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each account is personal and should not be shared with others outside your household.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create in HomeHuddle (tasks, notes, events, etc.). We do not claim any rights over your data, and we will not share, sell, or license your content to third parties beyond the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy.

5. People you reference

When you add other people in HomeHuddle by name (children, partners, nannies, cleaners, grandparents, etc.), you confirm that you have the right to record their information for household coordination. Children do not have accounts and cannot access the service. For adult helpers, please ensure they are aware their name and schedule are being recorded — or use a generic label.

6. Optional AI assistant integrations

HomeHuddle offers optional integrations with third-party AI assistants (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, and other Model Context Protocol clients). These are off by default. If you choose to connect one, you authorize that assistant to read and write your household data on your behalf. The assistant's provider operates under their own terms and privacy policy — including any cross-border data processing — which you accept directly with that provider. HomeHuddle is not a party to that relationship and does not act as a data sub-processor for your chosen AI assistant. You can revoke a connection at any time from your profile.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use HomeHuddle lawfully, not to disrupt the service, not to access other users' data without authorization, and not to introduce malicious code. Automated scraping or systematic API abuse is not permitted; programmatic access via the documented MCP endpoint is welcome and rate-limited.

8. Availability & changes

We aim to keep HomeHuddle available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes via email.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, HomeHuddle is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of data, lost profits, or service interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or intentional acts where Swiss law (CO Art. 100) prohibits such limitation. We strongly recommend keeping your own copy of any data that matters to you.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us; deletion completes within 30 days, including from backups.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

12. Contact
